Oktoberfest, 2024

Very well attended and brilliant meet including five prospective new members. Friday saw sunshine and a group scouting out the crags on Moel-Y-Gest. After a pub meal Friday evening, a sunny Saturday saw one group summit Snowdon, a climbing group scaling Pinnacle Rib Variant and a scrambling group enjoying Sentries Ridge. There was also a climbing pair ticking off all the VS routes at Bwlch-Y-Moch. We all came together that evening for an amazing communal meal, followed by home grown and hut made apple crumble. The weather stayed kind and Sunday there was walking, and two climbing groups taking advantage of doing routes within a short walk of the hut.
